Dillard pockets $1,000 at Leesville

With racing being rained out just about everywhere else in the country this past weekend, Cade Dillard towed his LG21 Modified to the Leesville 171 Speedway in Leesville, La., for a $1,000-to-win Modified event. After an early season filled with ups and downs and plenty of runner-up finishes, Dillard spanked the field in Leesville to pick up the win and $1,000 check.

"Blessed to have the opportunity to set in such a top notch car and have all the technical support that Chris Brown provides to myself and all his customers," Dillard said. "Without great people such as him and all my sponsors none of this would be possible for me to get up and down the road every week."

The team heads for the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Friday, May 1, and Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo., on Saturday, May 2, for some USMTS action.
