Dillard does it again in the desert

TUCSON, Ariz.—Cade Dillard made it two-for-two in USRA Modified action by capturing Sunday’s feature win from the third starting position in the 25-lap main event at the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at the USA Raceway.

Dillard beat polesitter Ricky Thornton Jr. to the checkered flag with Stormy Scott, 12th-starting Brad Dierks and Jake Hartung rounding out the top five.

It was the second straight $2,000 payday for the 2014 USMTS Rookie of the Year in just his second outing in a new MB Customs chassis owned by Shane and Shelly Sprinkle of S&S Fishing & Rental.

The Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout continues at USA Raceway on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and then Friday through Sunday, Jan. 15-17.
