Top five at Deer Creek Double Down

Jacob competed in the Double Down Challenge for USRA Modifieds this past Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn. Drivers were able to pay an extra $50 entry fee for the opportunity to run for double the regular purse.

Jacob started third and finished second in his heat race. He started on the outside of the front row for the main event and finished fourth.

Up next, The Hunt for the USMTS Casey’s Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental embarks on a five-night, five-track swing through Wisconsin, Minnesota and Northern Iowa this Wednesday-Sunday, Aug. 10-14. All three events will carry a $3,000 top prize with a minimum of $250 to start the Casey’s General Stores “A” Main each night.
