Big Daddy banks third at Salina, breaks in Moberly

Joe Duvall and the Duvall Electric/Trucks Unlimited team stayed close to home Friday to compete for $1,500 to win at the Salina Highbanks Speedway and watch some World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series action. In the main event, the Modifieds kept the fans on the edge of their seat with a great race up front with Duvall eventually finishing third our of a field of 45 entries.

On Saturday, the team rejoined the USMTS circuit at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. the big, fast half-mile track was wild and rough, and took it's toll on a lot of equipment, including the No. 91 MB Custom. After squeaking out a transfer spot in the B-Main, a loss of oil pressure forced the team to load up the car to fight another day without getting a chance to start the main event.

Up next, we head south for four races in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana with the United States Modified Touring Series.
