Duvall continues to hammer away in the Hunt

The Club 91 AMP Energy team ventured north this past weekend, Aug. 25-28, for a four-night swing in the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's Cup powered by S&S Fishing & Rental.

Thursday at the half-mile Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa. Joe stared second and finished first in his heat. In the feature, he started eighth and finished seventh to record his 14th top-10 finish of the season.

On Friday, the series invaded the Rapid Speedway in Rock Rapids, Iowa. Joe started sixth and finished fifth in his heat race. He started the feature in 14th and moved up on spot for a 13th-place finish.

Saturday took the team to the Park Jefferson Speedway in Jefferson, S.D., where 'Big Daddy' started fifth and finished fourth in his heat race. After a third-place finish in his "B" Main, Joe started 17th in the main event and held on to finish 15th in a rough-and-tumble race.

On Sunday, the weekend wrapped up at the tiny bullring called Casino Speedway in Watertown, S.S. Joe started fourth and finished sixth in his heat race, and then raced from eighth to third in his "B" Main. He started 18th in the "A" Main and finished 11th.

After 12 rounds of action, Joe sits seventh in the points standings with five events to go. The team is back in action this Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Fairmont Raceway in Fairmont, Minn., for the first of four straight nights in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa.
