Lucas Schott brought his best to the 17th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn., this past Thursday-Saturday, Sept. 24-26.
On Thursday, things got off to a good start for “Cool Hand Luke”with a pole position start and win in the fourth heat race. He started 12th in the 40-lap main event and wound up with a 15th-place finish.
On Friday, he started 11th in the first heat and passed six cars en route to a sixth-place finish. From the pole, he won his “B” Main and went off 19th in the 40-lap feature race. He passed eight cars and garnered an 11th-place finish,
On Saturday, he went from seventh to fourth in a power-packed heat race, but won his “B” Main again to earn a berth in the main event for the third straight night. After starting 17th, he took home an 18th-place finish in the 50-lap finale.
