VanderBeek Scores Osky Checkers

Round 3 of the American Racer USRA Weekly Racing Series was held at the Southern Iowa Speedway Wednesday night featuring a great night with some hot action in all four classes on Casey’s General Stores Night.

The Musco USRA Modifieds went 20 laps with three lead changes between defending track champion Brad Pinkerton of New Sharon, Steven Blattler of Oskaloosa and Zack VanderBeek of New Sharon. Blattler paced the field until lap 15 before VanderBeek secured the lead and piloted his #33Z Casey’s General Stores Skyrocket to victory lane. Blattler wound up second with Colt Mather of Webster in third and Pinkerton fourth.
