 For the second straight night, Joe was unable to start his heat race but was also unable to take the green flag in his B-main. With a provisional starting spot he raced from 25th on the grid to an impressive 8th at the checkered flag.

 Joe finally got to see action in his heat race on Sunday and made the most of it with a win from the outside of the front row. After starting 4th in the A-main, contact with an infield tire dashed his hopes of a victory and he was credited with 21st after dropping out of the race.

 Mesilla Valley Transportation/Border Tire and Arizona Differential Modifieds took the top 16 in passing points to the A-main and Joe wound up with the 11th starting spot after a runner-up in his heat. In the main event, he held on to finish 13th.

 Finished 2nd in Main Event

 Joe took advantage of his pole starting position and quickly jumped to the early lead, pacing the first 8 laps. However, Rodney Sanders tracked down Duvall and passed him on the bottom. Tyler Peterson began to close on Duvall for the runner-up position when Sanders lost control in the middle of the corner, completing a half-spin and driving through the infield on the exit of turn 2. Just as Sanders was taking his infield excursion, Peterson powered around the outside of Duvall and claimed the lead. Peterson cruised to victory while 'Big Daddy' took runner-up honors for his best finish of the event. It was announced that next year's Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout will be held January 9-10, 13, 15-17.

 Joe and the Club 91 squad joined the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s for the 10th Annual USMTS Texas Spring Nationals at the Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas. On Friday, "Big Daddy" got the pole for the first heat race and won it. he proceeded to draw the pole for the "A" Main and registered a strong 3rd-place finish. On Saturday, he started and finished 2nd in his heat but still had to run a "B" Main. he won from the pole and then started 13th in the "A" Main where he finished the 40-lapper in 16th.

 The Red Dirt Raceway was the location for the Cowboy 100 Proof--the first of three events in the Club 91 Funkadelic Dirt Track & Honky Tonk Extravaganza. Joe won his heat race and started 4th in the main event. Brooks Strength led until a broken driveshaft sent him to the pits on lap 35 and allowed "Big Daddy" to inherit the lead. A mid-race battle ensued and Tyler Wolff took the lead on lap 53. After a competition red flag for fuel and adjustments on lap 61, Duvall regained the lead until the winning pass by Wolff on lap 74. Joe settled for the runner-up paycheck.

 Joe competed in the third and final leg of the Club 91 Funkadelic Dirt Track Honky Tonk Extravaganza at the Creek County Speedway on August 1. After a runner-up finish in his heat race, Joe rolled off 9th in the main event and took the checkered flag in the 15th spot.

After drawing the outside of the front row for the main event. he held on to finish 4th in the USRA Modified feature race.

 Finished 7th in Main Event

 Joe returned to action with the USMTS on August 6 at the 81 Speedway. He opened the program with a heat race win and then drew the pole for the main event. After 40 solid laps, "Big Daddy" went home with a 7th-place finish along with several contingency awards from Fast Shafts, PEM, Sybesma Graphics and Wilwood.

 Friday's 14th Annual USMTS Summer Fling at the Humboldt Speedway got going with "Big Daddy" getting 3rd in his heat and then a 4th-place finish in his "B" Main. That put him 19th on the grid for the main event but was cut short on lap 33 with Joe settling for 17th.

 Finished 27th in Main Event

 The 11th Annual USMTS Slick Mist Show-Me Shootout took place August 8 at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo., and Joe kicked off the night by finishing 3rd in his heat race after starting 4th. After a runner-up finish n his "B" Main, he was the victim of an on-track incident which knocked him out on lap 6 with a 27th-place result.

 Finished 2nd in Main Event

 The 2nd Annual Wehrs Machine & Racing Products Bullring Bash started off great with Joe starting in fourth place in the first heat and powering his way to a win. This set him up to start the feature in the third spot. In the feature it took Joe all of four laps to take the lead of the forty lap main event. He stayed ahead of the field until Tony Jackson Jr. passed him on the last turn of that 40th lap for a second place finish. Full Story

Joe finished 11th and is headed to Salina Highbanks Speedway for the 8th Annual ARMI Salute to our Veterans presented by Bryke Racing.

 The 8th Annual ARMI Salute to our Veterans presented by Bryke Racing at Salina Highbanks Speedway started off rough for Joe and Club 91 as he finished last in his heat race because of a flat tire. In the "B" Main Joe started 8th and finished 3rd. In the "A" Main Joe started 19th and charged his way up to 10th, making it his 18th Top 10 of the year.

 "Big Daddy" and the Club 91 team took part in the inaugural "Halloween Hangover at The Hummer" on Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan. Advancing one spot in both races, Joe went from 7th to 6th in his heat race and 6th to 5th in his "B" main, but fell short of advancing to the main event.

 The final race of the year for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s took place Nov. 5-7 with the 3rd Annual Summit Southern Nationals at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas. On Thursday, Joe started on the pole of his heat race and held on to finish 3rd. He started and finished 3rd to earn the 18th starting spot in the "A" Main but mechanical failure knocked him out after just 6 laps with a 25th place finish. On Friday, "Big Daddy" started on the pole of his heat race gain, but this time he stayed there and picked up the win. He redrew the fourth starting spot for the "A" Main and then registered a 7th place finish in the 40-lapper. Saturday wasn't as kind at the draw-in. The club 91 entry rolled off 7th in the heat race but clawed forward to finish 3rd and snag the 10th starting spot for the "A" Main. At the end of the competitive 50-lapper, the team put a 12th place paycheck in the bank to wrap up the three-day event.

 If you haven’t been to the Deep South Speedway, you should. Joe time-trialed 2nd quick and then won his heat. Local legend can’t start a feature that wreaked of a home cooked meal. Wasted an outside front row starting spot. "Big Daddy' worked my way back to 3rd place check from deep in the field. Dumping the guy on the cool down lap in front of his family and friends sold a lot of shirts for Club 91. Hope to be home by noon. Appreciate Justin going and helping this weekend. Life’s good.
