Tough Luck

Lucas Schott had a string of bad luck. On Friday at Mississippi Thunder Speedway, Lucas's dad or crewchief left the heat gurad in and would cause Lucas to pull off of the race track. Lucas would start 22nd or dead last and come from the back to finish 8th.

On Saturday, at the Deer Creek Speedway, USMTS would be in town. Lucas would start 9the in his heat and almost spin out but came back from a half lap down and gain one of those positions back. Lucas would brake a rocker arm in his b-main, and that would end his night of racing and call for a quick change in motors.

On Sunday, USMTS would make a stop at the Dodge County Speedway. Lucas again starting in the back of the heat would finish where he would start. Lucas would start 16th in the b-main but rain moved in and postponed racing until Monday the 30th.

So on Monday they would finish up racing at Dodge County Speedway. Lucas would miss the show by just one spot. So after finishing up there, all the haulers would head over to Chateau Raceway for the make up race. Lucas would start 4th in his heat, and finished 3rd. That was enough to make it into the show. After the racing was completed, Lucas would come home with a 7th place finish, and his best of the weekend. Ryan Gustin would sweep all 3 USMTS shows throughout the weekend.
