Friday, the Schott Racing Team traveled to the Cedar Lake Speedway. After a second place finish in his heat, Lucas would start outside pole in his b-main. Lucas would lead most of it but on the white flag, the second place cars would tag Lucas, and he would spin out. Usmts rules say, if you stop, you go to the back. That would end Lucas' night. Saturday at the Deercreek Speedway, Lucas would finish 2nd in his heat and draw the number he was looking for. The pole position. But on lap 6 of the feature, a rock would hit Lucas' ignition switch and would shut his car down. That would end his night.
