A Successful Race Season Comes to an End

The Schott Racing Team has had a very successful race season. The season started back in March and just ended on the first weekend of October. Lucas had 39 starts under the USRA Sanction and came home with 11 wins, 29 top 5's, and 36 top 10's . The goal this year was to finish 5th or better in USRA National Points, and Lucas was able to finish 3rd. This was a huge accomplishment knowing that there is over 500 registered modifieds in the country. Another goal was to win at least one Track Championship. That goal was reached as Lucas won the Mississippi Thunder Speedway Track Championship and he also finished second at Deercreek. Lucas had 12 USMTS starts and was able to pull off 3 top 5's in some of the biggest races of the year. This was a very successful race season and the Schott Racing Team hopes that they are able to find a few more sponsors and race more often with USMTS.
