Third place finish for Schott at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

Lucas competed in the USRA Modified division Friday, Aug. 22, at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis. Starting on the pole of his heat race, "Cool Hand Luke" won going away, and then he started on the pole for the main event. However, Brad Waits was too much tonight and Lucas dropped to third at the finish behind Waits and Lance Hofer. We'll be at Deer Creek Speedway on Saturday night for Season Championships there.
