Schott second at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

Lucas Schott and the Sput's Racing Engines-powered No. 69 Schott's Hardwood Floors/Hughes Racing Chassis modified returned to familiar territory on Friday, Aug. 21, with some USRA Modified action at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wis.

Although 'Cool Hand Luke' had a lightning-fast car all night long, passing in the main event was difficult and he eventually settled for the runner-up paycheck behind winner Keith Foss.

An attempt to turn the weekend into a doubleheader was thwarted when the show at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wis., was rained out on Saturday.
