Schott fires off at USRA National Championships

The Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., hosted the 2nd Annual USRA National Championships on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15-17, and the No. 69 Schott's Hardwood Floors team made the trip.

After drawing back row starting spots for his heat races on Thursday and Friday, he finished 14th in Thursday's feature race and then repeated the feat on Friday.

After qualifying for the main event through his Qualifying heat race Saturday, 'Cool Hand Luke' rolled off 22nd in the championship main event but a rubber-up track early on negated any chance of moving to the front. He finished 16th on the final scorecard at the end of the 35-lapper.
