Luke and the Budweiser/Schott's Hardwood Floors team invaded the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, Minn., last weekend for the inaugural Widow Wax Summersota Nationals for USMTS Modifieds.
On Thursday, he started 6th and finished 3rd in his first of two heat races, and then started 9th and finished 3rd in his second heat.
On Friday, he started 13th and finished 8th, and then won his second heat after starting on the outside of the front row.
His two-day points total set him up for the 6th starting spot in Saturday's $15,000-to-win main event. After 72 laps of racing, he finished 7th and pocketed $2,200.
