The annual Charlie Kraft Memorial took place at the Lakeside Speedway Friday in honor of the Central Auto Racing Boosters Hall of Fame driver with 17 USRA Modifieds on hand for racing.
Wrapping up the preliminary heat races were the USRA Modifieds as Rodney Sanders of Worthington, Minn., Darron Fuqua of Mayetta and Nic Bidinger of Perry scored the wins.
When racing resumed for the main events, USMTS regular Lucas Schott dropped in on the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series action and collected the victory in a back-up car for Tylker Wolff. Fuqua, who led early in the 20-lap USRA Modified main event, finished second, Rodney Sanders was third and Tyler Wolff finished fourth after starting in the 11th spot.
