 On Friday, Joe finished 5th in his heat race but took the win in his B-Main. In the main event, he finished in the 14th spot. Last Sunday's event was postponed to a Saturday afternnon matinee, and Joe kicked things off by leading all drivers in Group #1 qualifying. In the main event, he scored a solid third-place finish behind D.J. Shannon and Rodney Sanders.

 Joe struggled to a fifth-place finish in VP Racing Fuels Heat Race #4 but rebounded to take the win in Real Racing Wheels “B” Main #2 after starting fourth. In the main event, 'big Daddy' came from the 14th starting position to finish sixth. A rain-soaked Mississippi forced USMTS officials to cancel Saturday night’s stint at the Whynot Motorsports Park as well as the scheduled series debut at the Magnolia Motor Speedway on Sunday. Up next is the 7th Annual Cajun Clash at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La.

 Joe competed in the 7th Annual USMTS Cajun Clash at the Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, La., April 11-12. On Thursday, he started 5th in his heat race and finished 8th after being taken out on the opening lap. In his "B" Main, he started 13th and finished 7th. In the "A" Main, he used a provisional, started 25th and finished 15th. On Friday, he started 2nd in his heat race and finished 2nd. In the "A" Main, he started 11th and finished 8th. Saturday's event was rained out.

 Finished 9th in Main Event

 After a solid runner-up effort in his heat race, Joe rolled off from the 10th starting spot in the "A" Main. With a black groove around the bottom limiting passing opportunities, 'Big Daddy' held strong for a ninth-place finish in the 40-lapper.

 Like the night before, Joe raced from 4th to 1st in his heat race but mechanical problems in the main event knocked him out with a 22nd place finish.

 On Thursday, Joe finished 8th in his heat race and then dropped out of his "B" Main with a 16th-place finish. On Friday, 'Big Daddy' drew the worst starting spot in the field and finished 9th in his heat race before exiting early in his "B" Main again in 13th. The team decided to load up and head toward home with a stop along the way at the Lucas Oil Speedway for some USRA Modified action on Saturday.
